Review by hotel critic
During my recent trip to Kolkata, I had the pleasure of staying at Shila International, and it truly felt like a serene refuge amid the city's vibrant chaos. The professional staff welcomed me warmly, and the young man who assisted me demonstrated exceptional hospitality, making me feel right at home. The hotel's location is undeniably its crown jewel; just a leisurely stroll away from major attractions like the Victoria Memorial and ISKCON, it offered the perfect blend of convenience and comfort. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop terrace, where I could unwind after a day of exploration with a cup of tea, soaking in the soothing atmosphere. Breakfast was a delightful start to my day, and I found the room service to be both reasonable in price and delicious, which allowed me to indulge during my quieter evenings. The cleanliness, along with sound-insulated walls that promised restful nights, made Shila International a wonderful sanctuary for both solace and a touch of indulgence.
